Team of the Month
The Boys Grade 6 CMEK Elite team took home the AAU Fall League Championship with a victory over Manhattan in the Final. Cade Ivy (Cresskill) led the team in scoring. Joe Rotonde (Haworth) and Austin Albericci (Closter) contributed with double doubles.
Later on, the team went on to win the NJ Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout by beating the state's top team. 6 Elite, pictured right, was led by Jake Runyon (Demarest), Max Weiner (Tenafly), and Ralph Arias (Closter) who combined for 66 points in the final game. Matt Harris (Hillsdale) also had a solid all around game. The team has its sights set on the NJ State Tournament this Spring.
