    November 2011

    The Boys Grade 6 CMEK Elite team took home the AAU Fall League Championship with a victory over Manhattan in the Final. Click to read more.. The Boys Grade 6 CMEK Elite team took home the AAU Fall League Championship with a victory over Manhattan in the Final. Cade Ivy (Cresskill) led the team in scoring. Joe Rotonde (Haworth) and Austin Albericci (Closter) contributed with double doubles. Later on, the team went on to win the NJ Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout by beating the state's top team. 6 Elite, pictured right, was led by Jake Runyon (Demarest), Max Weiner (Tenafly), and Ralph Arias (Closter) who combined for 66 points in the final game. Matt Harris (Hillsdale) also had a solid all around game. The team has its sights set on the NJ State Tournament this Spring.

    The CMEK 5 Elite team won the tournament thanks to great play from Max Trop. Click to read more.. The CMEK 5 Elite team won the tournament thanks to great play from Max Trop. Jackson Hecker played a great floor game. Seth Silverman rebounded well and Jack Reinhart played outstanding on the ball defense. The team has a very bright future and should be a major force moving forward.

    The Grade 2 Black team won the League championship behind the dominating play of superstar Luke Aboudi. Click to read more.. The Grade 2 Black team won the League championship behind the dominating play of superstar Luke Aboudi. Tyler Runyon and Jaden Lazarus were incredible all-season long. Sam Platin was the team's sharp-shooter, Jack Kaplan had nifty passes, and Harrison Abramson was the team's top defender. Max Sweetwood and Marcus Gabriel made big plays too.

     

    February 2012

    The CMEK Grade 3 team finished in 1st place in the BTBL. Click to read more.. The CMEK Grade 3 team finished in 1st place in the BTBL. The team finished 12-2 with key victories over Demarest and Woodcliff Lake to end the season. It was a total team effort all season long. Jack Berg and Jonah Vasquez led the team in rebounding and scoring in the championship game. The team had steady point guard play from Ryan Weiss and Jonathan Weiss all season. Baruch Shmulker and Jack Speiser also had excellent seasons.

     

    March 2012

    The CMEK Grade 7 team won the BTBL Army Division championship with playoff victories over Washington Township and Montvale. Click to read more.. The CMEK Grade 7 team won the BTBL Army Division championship with playoff victories over Washington Township and Montvale. The team finished with a 14-2 League record. The team was led by Ryan Galgano who was amongst the most dominating players in the league. Daylen Wade-Perry and Ja'quaye James were unstoppable throughout the season. Sam Turner had many big plays in the final game while Yisrael Solomon was outstanding on the perimeter.

The Grade 4 Elite team went undefeated this month thanks to the stellar Guard play of Max Zakheim and Aidan Pink. The tandem forms one of the best back-courts in New Jersey. The pair is surrounded by athletic wing Gabe Velez and outside shooter Zack Foti. The rest of the team is coming on strong.
